Oral Conscious Dental Sedation

We can give you an anxiety-relieving medication a short time before your procedure begins. As the name implies, you’ll stay conscious while under the effects of the sedative. You may be groggy and relaxed enough to doze off, but we can wake you up with a gentle nudge. With oral conscious sedation, it’s much easier for anxious patients to comfortably sit through lengthier dental procedures. Make sure you have someone you trust who can drive you home after the procedure, as it will take a while for the effects of the sedative to wear off completely.

Nitrous Oxide Dental Sedation

Mild to moderate dental anxieties can usually be managed with nitrous oxide sedation, which can be performed with little to no preparation. You simply need to make yourself comfortable while we place a mask over your nose so that you can breathe in the sedative while we work on your smile. You’ll be awake and able to answer our questions, but you’ll be in a state where you’re unbothered with what’s going on around you.
